where did you fly from? I'm planning on going to Switzerland this August to do some soaring in the alps. Any recommendations for glider operations to fly with?

I fly from sion, if you come early august you can try the munster summer camp
flugplatzmuenster.ch/segelflug-sommerlager/
but the best for soaring in switzerland is april-may-june

@vvcvalais what are the minimum conditions to fly in the mountains? (hours, licenses, ...) ?

@DrDLay in switzerland only the glider licence is required. But a few flights with a local instructor gives you more confidence!

Fantastic! Gives perspective to others why glider pilots do what they do. I'd be grinning like the guy with the red shirt if as well if I was up there in the wave. How did you do those panning panoramas where the panel and horizon move in perspective to eachother? Cool effect...
