Economic Reporting: Then and Now

Has anybody else noticed that the media stubbornly refused to fairly report improving economic news in 2003 and 2004, as President Bush prepared for a tough re-election battle, while the same media is now euphorically jumping on any sign of economic improvement with President Obama in the White House? Just a coincidence, I'm sure.

FACT: The media loves Obama and will gladly spin, manipulate and even lie to make sure that he is put in the best possible light. With Bush, they would do the same thing to make sure that he was put in the worst light.

For the record, the GOP controlled both houses of Congress for 4 years and 5 months during Bush's tenure. For the first 1 year and 7 months it was split with the Dems controlling the Senate(Jim Jeffords). For the final two years the Dems controlled both houses.

Also for the record, national unemployment was at 4.5% when the Democrats took control of Congress and the budget.

Correct. What happened to Don Imus with his "nappy-headed" comment is fresh in the minds of the media. No one wants to have their lives destroyed by Al Sharpton and the rest of the minority extortion groups.

But the media also make things worse with their hyper-liberal partisan bias. They don't have the guts to stand up to the Sharptons and then they add to the problem by being massively biased in favor of every liberal cliche on earth.
