  • really its a CO not a COE. COE means cabover extention which had a bump in the front. that is just a cab over. I do remember Carolina as well as many other trucking companys that are gone :( and I do remember this one very beautiful good luck to you always with it.

  • I'm 44 years old and I have always only known them as Cab Over Engine's therefore I rest my case on the COE. That's my story and I'm stickin to it! But Thanks for the positive note.

  • @classicpower07 would this truck be for sale possibly????

  • yes, If you are a serious buyer you may call me at 828-612-3447

  • what year did carolina go undermi remeber seeing those trucks when i was a kid

  • 1995

  • Nice truck and good music. I would have preferred to hear this truck run than the music.

  • more cummins, less music

  • @libwalt Was it Sea Land?..I thought there was both, but too long ago...Thanks...

  • @glk001 it was sea land

  • respect nice video

  • quality!

  • Music sucks, I would rather hear the truck engine

  • C.O.E. = cab-over-engine. That's what they were calling them in all the technical literature I ever read from the year I started truck driving, which was 1974. The reference to "White" Freightliner has nothing to do with the color of paint. White, Inc. was a big truck manufacturers, and Freightliner was a model they built under contract to Consolidated Freightways (CF). I remember in the 70"s CF's trucks had a slogan painted on them saying "Consolidated Freightliners."

  • that nice cabover that well taken care of.

  • De-regulation of freight was a big killer of those trucking companies...Was it Sea Train or Sea Land?..Sea Train, I think that the owner wouldn't go along with the Mob and closed his gates...Pressured the company out...I've never heard the term cab over engines myself as being COE...I've had a commercial license since 1975...
