I had been wondering if, in season 2, we'd see what happened to Don's mistress' of season 1. I was a bit surprised that Rachel got married, especially after Don said they should runaway together (but then we wouldn't have season 2). I hope we see her again. I like her better than Bobbie.

It's more like "good place and "no place"... but "the place that cannot be" sounds so much better when she says it.... I really missed her character during Season 2.

I was thinking about this scene in regards to "The Jet Set." I never gave it much thought but Don is attracted to how real Rachel finds her life. She understands her connection to her ethnic culture, and her current home. For all the "Jews as ultimate outsiders" talk, she has a sense of belonging. It is very different to him exploring various fantasy options.
