@TheLuscious I TOO ONCE THOUGHT that LT was the ONLY defensive player named MVP. That is INCORRECT sir. Alan Page of the Vikings did it in '71.

ONE AMAZING THING about LT was he always wrapped up his victims and never just speared at them--or hit high near the helmet the way many tacklers do today.
He had this crazy ability to always square his body to never miss and many times used centrifugal force, the way safeties do, to bring down targets.
Although he doesnt appear to very intelligent, he did have an elite spatial perception of player trajectories to always take the correct path to the ball or player. Ball awareness=100

The best defensive player ever, period. The only defensive player ever named NFL MVP in 1986 and the only three time NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Unstoppable. And this is a 34 year Dallas Cowboys fan writing this. I loved watching LT play.
