Pretty much the only time missiles make high altitude turns is when an air-to-air missile has been given pre-programmed waypoints to the target aircraft, and even then the turns are sharp, not gradual like those.Anyway, missiles heading toward a ground target don't have to turn, and so they they don't. It's air. They just fly straight through it. Commercial aircraft follow predefined flight paths between established waypoints. These are aircraft contrails. One had just turned through a waypoint.
