MAMA is a Series of 13 video documentaries (26 minutes each) focusing on the real-life experience of mothers and families.
The Series strategy relies on filming real breastfeeding experiences.
The woman is the protagonist. All narrative structure is based on her experience, through the first postpartum hardships until the breastfeeding process is well established.
Parallel to the mothers' stories there will be additional information such as medical and sociological aspects of nursing. For instance: breastfed children have higher IQ; breastfed people have lower indexes of various adult diseases like diabetes, hypertension or asthma; violence indexes are lower in communities with higher nursing averages.
