The Dynavin Extension Kit is designed for use with the DVN-E46 and DVN-E39A systems (including Android models) and is compatible with D95/D99 platform systems only, it is not compatible with any older Dynavin systems.

This kit is required when installing one of the compatible Dynavin systems into a BMW vehicle which has factory fitted navigation, this is because the CD/DVD navigation drive is in the rear of the vehicle. This applies to all navigation systems with the CD/DVD drive in the boot/rear of the car such as BMW E46 3-Series (1998-2006) with CD/DVD Navigation BMW E39 5-Series (1996-2003) with CD/DVD Navigation BMW E53 X5-Series (1999-2006) with CD/DVD Navigation
