I really enjoyed your vid...I live in Galesburg Illinois and would like to make the same sailing...I am planning to buy my first sailboat,a 1986 catalina 25..I hope to run into you guys sometime out there....I have 4 kids myself...

This inspires me to nagg my dad to do something like this. We have a macgregor 26S, and I'm sure it would be sea worthy enough to do this. I recently learned how to sail, and I wish I had a sailboat with a wheel instead of a tiller.

I enjoyed the trip. I sure wish I could get my whole family of four to make an overnight to Mich City like you did. My kids are older and harder to round up. I sail a Macgregor 26X out of the Hammond Marina.

great to see other lake Michigan sailors! We sail out of Green Bay..most often enjoying Door County WI and surrounding locations. Great and fun video to watch!
