Just a quick video to show that the Apple Wireless Keyboard can work with the HD2. Using ROM 1.66 and no special tweaks.

  • the problem that when i want to write a message for example when i press the backspace button to remove a long statement and hold it starting to type (m) or (p) letters.

and tha main menu bar look like unstable and keep Wavering, i feel it is fraid of me..............

  • It sounds as if the firmware on your AWK may not work well with the HD2 :( I think the only thing is to try another keyboard sorry.

  • whats the procedure? any cabs to be installed first in the HD2? only for this particular Keyboard?

what about a windows based keyboard?

  • Hi, No cabs were needed, I just paired them together. Please see other comment about problems at first though.

I think other bluetooth windows keyboards can be used. Although I chose the AWK for it's portability and build quality.

  • please please please help me, i have a problem with my hd2 keyboard exactly as this video (htc hd2 keyboard problems) please tell me what can i do i am so sad because ive just bought it just befor 1 week

  • What problem do you have? Is it that the phone has paired with the keyboard but no key presses are working?

Does the green light keep flashing on the keyboard even though you have paired with the phone?

If so I had the same problem. I fixed it by repeatedly re-pairing with the keyboard and eventually it just started working.

  • u use home row?

  • WOW

  • that's a hilarious last line

  • BiffsterX, cool vid, thanks a lot.

Also for those who are curious, the 2 battery AWK works great on a Telstra HTC HD2 with an L26 (custom) ROM. Paired straight away with no nonsense.

Credit goes to xda-developers, they're a bunch of hard-working badasses. Peace

  • Perfect! I can just carry this keyboard around with me wherever I go in my pocket!

  • Hey I'm planning on buying an HD2 along with one of these keyboards, thing is, do you have the two-battery one or the three-battery one? I suppose that makes a difference. Also, how did you pair them together? And what keys don't work?

  • I already can to paring with my keyboard but how can I connect it with the hd2 (telstra rom) so I can type, thanks

  • See... they CAN get along!
