Simply amazing.

many great voices (dietrich, piaff, streisand, sinatra, dion, sting, and so many others around the world) had a go at this insane song (and many to come will try), but this is truly one of the best covers by far. Ne me quitte pas has allways been one of my favorites, and didn't even know allison took a crack at it. I knew she has a great voice, and so I simply wanted to hear her version and was absolutely blown away! (also the first time I even bothered to comment on a video simply had to) thx

The passion that is shown coupled with deep sensuality in this version of Jacques Brel's - Ne Me Quitte Pas, blows me away everytime I listen to it. Those who discuss who has the best version miss the the genius in Alison Moyet's delivery of this classic song. Not many performance's such as this give me that excitement in being alive!!!

Excellent ALISON MOYET. I'm a Portuguese person that from a distance can see some ill words in some comments here. Alison Moyet is a great singer that marked very positively my twenties. Warm and powerful voice, profound interpretations and here, an astonishing command of the French Language. All the nationalists, please! Give us a break. All languages are beautiful because they are a mean of understand and understanding is what we all need.Thank you for reading. Obrigado. Merci. Gracias etc

Magnifique Alison Moyet !

I didn't think she sang it that well! Her pronunciation was a bit off (the word "quitte") where she never once pronounced the leter ' T '.

Obviously no-one beats Monsieur Brel's agonisingly beautiful and painful version of his own song, but Ms Moyet's version is by far the best of the covers I've heard- very good!

Superb. I generally find that anyone attempting to sing a Jaques Brel song falls some way short. But this is excellent and Alf brings almost as much emotion to the song as the great man himself.
C'est magnifique.
