@woodbinedrinker Well I was just going by the title of the video. You might be right. It could then be a Nasr-1 or similar weapon which is about 2/3 the size of the Noor, and has less than half the range. I remember reading that it was being modified to be fired from helicopters a couple of years ago.

@edwong3 all pictures show a Noor at around 12-16 feet long, 2 to 3 feet in diameter. I don't think you could fire something that big from a chopper.

@woodbinedrinker It's a Noor anti ship cruise missile, not an AIM 7. It has a 200 km range (about 124 nm) and can reach speeds of mach 2.

That's an old Sikorsky helicopter. They have less than 10 of them. And the missile looks like an AIM 7 Sparrow Air to Air missile. I think this is all bullshit by those who want to get their hands on Iran's oil reserves.
