Big storm chaos at the intersection - cops giving tickets!

Sausalito's power outage on Jan 5 during the big storm; most folks not realizing they need to treat intersections as a 4 way stop. Running the intersection, getting tickets and getting into accidents. One guy ran the light and hit me and now he's lied to the insurance about it! He was even on the bloody phone! Wake up! Pay attention! Some how I knew he was gonig to lie about it. The police didn't make a traffic report just an incident report - so now I may have to take it to court!! Jeez-

We filmed this because there was an accident about 30 minutes earlier and the dude that was on the phone and didn't bother to stop at the intersection hit me and denied that he did anything wrong. I was trying to prove that many many people didn't realize they needed to stop at the intersection even though the power was out! I'll be damned if I have to pay to have the car fixed when the a-hole couldn't be bothered to stop!@

@batfly Exactly. Back in May we were traveling from the gulf coast to Atlanta and the Alabama state pigs were running a speed trap somewhere between Mobile and Montgomery. Well as we were all going about 70-75 mph, one of those dickhead troopers in front of us slammed on his brakes to turn around in one of those "emergency turnarounds" with out using his turn signal and just about caused a damn pileup. They're willing to risk people's lives just to make a buck.

And when they pull people over they pose a traffic hazard. How many accidents and deaths have been caused by police?

I bet police have caused more harm and death then if they did not exist at all.

seriously i just got pulled over today, the cop said i was speed which i know i wasnt because right before he pulled me over i checked, and also if a cop pulls you over for speeding and you ask to see the radar dont they have to let you see so they can prove that you speeding

Instead of getting his ass out and directing traffic, he's writing tickets. Now you see why most people hate the police. Most of them rather collect revenue instead of providing service and protection. I should know. My mom's a dispatcher.

even worse than this is when ppl get into fenderbenders and then block traffic thinking they cant move their cars from the scene.

This what I love about cops. Instead of directing traffic for public saftey they would rather give tickets.
