This is all bad not a good idea at all to have robots fight wars and conducting police actions.Robot police and soldiers will most likely be controled by corrupt governments to supress the mass populations of people mostley US citizens and western Europeans who want to be free.More unmaned viechels the worse they kill civilans inncoent people with out any remorse not good not good at all wake up people these thing are bad news and they probly all redy have them

@khallex And I suppose if you have robot soldiers you don't have robot security or something? And who is "you"? The government center? The president? If you just want to attack civilians, all you need to do is just nuke the whole country, and you're done. Why waste time even building robots?
If "you" send robots to attack and "their" robots defend, that's exactly what I said. What's the point when it's just robot vs. robot...

@PoliticalHell Your enemies send their robots after you. It's your robots job to defend against the assault, destroy the enemy robots, and proceed on to attack your enemies. In the case of complete robot armies, you attack civilians.
Who the hell would send out "X" number of robots to a random location to fight while your enemy sends "X" number of robots to same said location; it's completely pointless and sadly the exact situation your poorly constructed philosophical question suggests happen.

hmm, i think 10 years is too short (the biggest problem is the Artificial intelligence), but maybe in 20 Years :D

The interesting philosophical question is, if robots eventually fight wars for us, and everyone uses them, will wars eventually just be really expensive video games? Robots vs. robots, maybe even AI vs. AI.. the human factor will be lost completely, so either it will be a pointless demonstration of who can afford to build more robots, or wars will altogether become obsolete?
