i just got a meinl headliner as a gift and im disapointed cuz it keeps buzzing and rattling no matter how i tune it! sometimes it sounds like im hitting a guitar instead of a cajon. and how are the strings supposed to sound like when they're plucked? cuz my right side sounds muffled and my left side sounds loud like guitar strings. help me out, thanks:)

hey, just got a meinl headliner series cajon today, come out of the box and i have tried to play around with the tuning but no matter what there is no sizzle, havent used the screws but any suggestions? thanks

Hey Jimmy thanks for the Video, i just got a meinl headliner. My question is...on the left side for the slap i noticed it is very tight even when i loosen the screws whereas the right side curves out alot more, is there a way i can fix that? The slap on that side is no where as nice as the other. Thanks for any help.

Hey man, thanks for posting this. One question: is it possible to separate the strings from the front of the plate to eliminate the snare effect (as you would on a normal snare drum)? Thanks!
