  • real or not, this diary was written by one twisted mind

  • "... Unless he can say, well, here's the proof, we don't think he should be using me dad's name."

And how would he go about proving it anyway? I cannot speak for everyone, but I never ask any of the persons who have given me presents to sign a document as proof that they gave me any gifts.

  • mmm

  • @scentless2apprentice Most of the letters are believed to be hoaxes. However, handwriting analysis WAS done on the diary and the person to whom it supposedly belongs, James Maybrick, and the writing didn't match.

  • one way in which they could help the search is by comparing the hand writing to the old letters that were supposedly written by jack the ripper to the police. not that it will 100% confirm it is him, but i think it would help a lot

  • It was James Maybrick i tell you.

  • @13BlueCrimson Because there are lots of old victorian books around. Just because the book is old doesn't mean it wasn't written in later.

  • @kailasfreak Because people identified the killer as a male. They simply never saw his face...

  • how can we be so sure that the ripper was a man and not a woman
