You would have thought that after the backlash he received last time, Obamas advisors would have him well drilled on the proper Presidential way in which to meet foreign dignitaries, but Obama must be so eager to prove his fealty to his global elite masters that he broke tradition yet again in appearing to bow to Chinese Communist leader Hu Jintao.

No, bowing isn't at all different from shaking hands, its just a cultural variation of a polite greeting. I don't like the videos of Bush shaking hands with Hu Jintao either, nor did I like the picture of Neville chamberlain shaking hands with hitler. Dictators who commit crimes against humanity shouldn't be received as honored guests, certainly not in a country that fancies itself "the land of the free"

@TheTollundWoman Agreed. But you think bowing is different than shaking hands? Or kissing each other in France... should have Obama thrown a glass of coca cola to give him a greeting? I'm not an Obama supporter... but bowing is pretty normal in China.

@flutist1989
because we are trillions of dollars in debt to one of the most repressive regimes in modern history. Obama didn't start this disastrous policy and it is probably beyond his immediate control to change it. but we seriously need to end our dependence on the CCP regime and take a firm stand against Hu Jintao's oppression of his own citizens

I was hopeful Bush would end the US' appeasement of Communist China, i am still perplexed how/why we continued borrowing millions from the CCP regime. Even after Bush announced the policy of confronting the Axis of Evil. Remember, Hu Jintao is Kim Jong Il's only real ally. I wish there were more people in both parties like General Douglas MacArthur

Unfortunately Obama is by no means the first US President to appease the Communist regime in China, in fact it was Nixon who first agreed to do business with the regime, and every president after him, both Democratic and Republican, has pretty much continued this policy without much variation. Obama should never have met with Hu Jintao, but Bush was president in 2008, why didn't we boycott the Beijing Olympics in protest?

why do you care?
