I agree with you to the point that you might better not start changing peoples brains and personality and such, yet to manipulate the physical person being born shouldnt be a bad thing I think, hair colour, who cares? if theres less ppl with red hair then let it be so, as appearantly nature ran its course allowing us to be ale to do these things long as we do not make ''super humans'' by making some of us too dangerously talented leading to the depression of others. I personally believe that no parent should have an option as to how the baby is engineered. The "characteristics" that make a baby who he/she is should not be tarnished. Yet, disease and deformity should be removed without question. This would make everyone equal in standard without affecting the out come of the persons looks, capabilities, or innate talent.

America will always be a social status-driven society. There will always be elitism. I'm not trying to trivialize it, but I just saying. Humans especially Americans are innately like that.
