  • wow........how can I enjoy my new CS4 when the classis 88 is so much better?! o.O

  • A thing to be considered about these graphics packages' marketing material: they always said that everyone could create professional-looking art with those software. But still only the ones with the skill can make good things.

  • Wait. There is AiCS5 in video, isnt?

  • The Best.... is FreeHand. Forever!

  • the problem I see with Ai is that the program hasn't changed since, well, 89', which means that the type of art you can design is largely limited, and very similar the the mid 90's. Sure there are people who with time and patience can create photorealistic images in ai, but it can now be done faster with other software. I've always used ai for design/layouts, for that it's brilliant but not illustration. Most ai files come out looking like either 90's crap or early 2000's clean flower crap.

  • CS5 my ass

  • LASER TECHNOLOGY

  • It's pretty funny, that it's been over 20 years since this, and I still can't figure out how to use the Pen/Line tool (tracing) properly. ;)

Gotta dig the "professional illustrator's" style though. Mullet - check. Wall Street style shirt, suspenders and Oliver Peoples glasses - check. Smug facial expression - check.

  • I hate the "anyone can do it" sales pitch, makes me think of drum machines and bad music.

  • Ai '88 looks pretty good compared to Ai CS3,4, and now 5.

  • i mean, i've been using it for a while to do some shirt for coins, but it still takes skills lol some pics there are way too complicated for me lol

  • @Tidusjmcw79 Make + Mac My bad
