While in town for a George Michael concert, I couldn't resist stopping by Domenico DeMarco's Di Fara Pizzeria. He made me the most amazing pepperoni pie! There are no words to describe how good his pizza is.

  • dumbass do u know what infamous means?

  • Sure do. His pizza is so good that it's evil. Hence the fact that it is infamous. You can't stop eating the stuff. Are you always suck a dick? I mean, do you live for saying cruel things to people?! What gives?

  • Thanks for the great song, Rosemary Clooney sings Mambo Italiano the best in my opinion. The pizza look delicious btw!

    Ciao

  • Thanks! I think she does the best version too. The pizza is the bomb!! ♥

  • Hey! Is that "Gina" in there at the end??? Dom's daughter is a hoot!

  • I'm hoping she continues the tradition when Domenico passes on. That will be a sad, sad day.

  • Closed down by the NYC Board of Health!!! Not once, but at least twice! How is he so great!?!!?

  • The secret is the oil they put on it, plus the water for the dough. I'm trying to think what oil they put. NO place in S. Florida does that with the oil. They must put anchovies in the sauce and cooked onions., not alot but a little. They put 2 kinds of oil, must be Extra virgin and maybe Spanish olive oil., Maybe.

  • great looking pizza, horrible video

  • @MrRollerjam Amen! that is all I have to say. I grew up in Midwood and ate pizza all over this neighborhood back in the 1980s. This guy's place was empty and he served the greasiest slice you could ever find. Then the NY Times blessed his rat infested store and Viola ... everyone loves him. Jeeeeeez

  • @pAbedaNSK you sound like one of those tools who always tries to correct others and feels superior in the process. guess what fuckface, you're a shithead.

  • And that, ladies and gentleman, is how you make a pizza.

  • @MrRollerjam u suck at life.....

  • its funny how i used to live in that neighborhood for 15years,and no one when to defara pizzaria...how this pizzaria became famous is beyond me... I HEARD OTS BEEN CLOSED DOWN SO MANY TIMES BY THE DEPT. OF HEALTH. SO MANY TIMES..IF YOU WANT GOOD PIZZA GO TO VALENTINOS ON 86ST AND 17THAVE..GOOD FOOD AND GOOD SERVICE.....

  • the old man needs help. he takes pride in what he does but he keeps burning the pies. its too much for him and it costs too much for us. had a bad experience there . didnt try the pizza walked out . bad customer service and overpriced. the pie looked like a wet thin cracker. from what i heard about this place i was expecting real pizza that i remember years ago. nice big slices with thick crust and premium sauce, spices and cheese dripping off the edges . those were the days.

  • wake up people 5 dollars a slice? america is finished! just chaos. arrived at 6pm worker came to the window said they would reopen at 645 (opened at 7 ) she took our order. we were second on line outside. we went in ordered a 30.oo pie (crazy right). by 830 after they served about 25 people ahead of us (probably their regulars) . every third pie was burned and the place had no ventalation. didnt try the pizza. we became smart and walked out without getting ripped off. nathans was great!
