Hi Dave, I've been watching the 5 Am Pentatonic scale. Being movable positions please let me know how to play Em using the same 4 patterns barring the 1st position. For the 1st position using 6th string 5th fret, its easy to follow by moving to 12th fret for Em. Please clarify as I am confused.

@karsaai Hi there. To use the shapes in all positions you move them around according to key. So, if you know Em in root position at the 12th fret, the 2nd position can be found at the 15th fret, or the 3rd fret, as the notes repeat after fret 12. the 3rd position can be found at the 17th fret, or the 5th fret and so on. As you run out of fingerboard, depending on your guitar type, just take 12 frets off. Hope this helps. Good luck with your playing.
Cheers Dave.
