Richard Carrier is my new hero! I only recently discovered his existence and shortly after his brilliance and wit. Bravo to Richard and thanks to Hambone for the vids.

I long to see the day when all people use evidence to backup their belief systems instead of the horribly repulsive and disappointing ignorance-building method of "faith" (belief without evidence) - this will be the day when we view all current religions the way we view ancient religions... as MYTH

That was a refreshing video. I had not seen any other of Richard Carrier's debates and lectures, but I'll be sure to see more in the future. Thanks for uploading!

Well for one his arguments are very old and very weak and have been disputed strongly! Maybe its because people have studied this really intense and for some time so that bad arguments stick up. He uses so many strawmans - it's actually near to nerv wracking.

People of faith are blinded even though Richard is an outstanding speaker with logic and reasoning that I am extremely impressed with.

Superb talk. I find it hard to see how this would not cause even the most hardened faith-head to have a little think...Entirely reasonable, not insulting, Carrier leads you through his very tightly argued case leaving very little wiggle room. Bravo!
