because IF it's a gallon and in US dollars, you shouldn't be complaining, where I live it's 1,40 a litre and a gallon=3,8 litre, so thats 5,32 and we've got it in euros.
1 Euro = 1.4356 U.S. dollars
so thats actually 7,45$ thats 2 times as expensive! there might be some people complaining but not alot
