The film version was recorded at the Centaur Theatre during the annual Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, Canada. Despite the common title, the CD album was recorded at a separate performance, after the Just for Laughs festival had closed.

  • HILL BILLY: "hey buddy weir CHRISTIAN we don't like what you said"

    BILL: "then forgive me"

    that killed me man....

  • Fuckin epic...still finding my mind after it was blown the fuck up...

  • Jim Fixx was a smoker

  • a funny philosopher

  • @trippygraffiti 00 - 1:00:08 fucking true.

  • As much as I love bill I wish that he had written more material instead of recycling it so much over the years to the point where it wasn't even relevant anymore. "Hey guys remember when Bush lost 5 years ago, I laughed my ass off".

  • @liamMCR yeah, well everyone has his own kind of humor ;)

My favourites are Hicks, Carlin, Stanhope, Jimmy Carr, and some other, I also recently discovered that I love Eddie Izzard :P

  • @asfarfafar I'm well aware of Doug Stanhope and as great as he is, there's something about him that just doesn't do it for me. He kinda irritates me which Bill never did - Bill was so sharp. Don't get me wrong stanhope hits some important subjects, but for me personally no one comes close to Hicks in terms of discussing serious subjects whilst being incredibly funny at the same time. Bill was the best, along with Carlin and Prior, my opinion.

  • @liamMCR Yeah, he was a great man..if you don't know him already, I suggest you check out Doug Stanhope, he has a similar style, and he is great too ;)

  • I hate and love watching this at the same time. I love watching this man because he knew the real world but i hate watching it because i wish people like him were still here. Its like he said, all the good guys get murdered. There are some sick sick people on this planet (you probably know who im talking about) and its about time we the people dealt with them. Its a win or lose situation, Bill knew that, thats why hes dead.
