Colonel Lemuel Q. Stoopnagle and his partner Budd Hulick star in the 1933 Educational pictures short "The Inventors". Sorry for my shaky camera, this is a not so great print recorded off TV from a VHS tape, but it's really rare, better this than nothing at all! And remember Stoopnocracy is peachy!

  • They also appeared in the film "International House" (1933), with WC Fields, George Burns and Gracie Allen - and Bela Lugosi.

  • Frederick Chase Taylor {"Colonel Lemuel Q. Stoopnagle"} and Wilbur "Budd" Hulick were teamed on the radio in several offbeat comedy series from 1931 through 1937, and appeared in several films as well; this was a 1933 short filmed in New York. Incidentally the same opening title music was used in The Ritz Brothers' 1934 Educational short, "Hotel Anchovy".
