@heelerdealer Um...what are you talking about?!? From here, it looked like they were agitating the dog and using a clatter stick as a part of that. The stick is noisy and intended to unnerve the dog. It would be useless to beat a dog doing what you're training it to do. Since the stick isn't used to hurt the dog, it helps build confidence in the dog and tests it's nerve. I'm not saying that this video is a perfect example of protection training, but hardly abusive.
