when i watched this my dad walked in and said to me why are you watching this its for gay ppl and i said because i like it its cool and then he said to me ohkay then i said yep then he asked if i was gay i said yep then he said well im happy you told me now and not hold on to it for your life then i said i had a boyfriend and he said well please one thing at a time lol

but im so happy i told him now when im with my boyfriend we can hug and kiss on my bed without worrying if my dad walked past

that's so nice to hear, I'm very happy for you! I love "coming out" success stories. Here in Norway, they're showing a program about real gay people and their coming out over the years, it's real good and SO inspiring.

my parents once got on my old myspace and my dad was all "why does it say your bi on there? you don't know what you want, it shouldn't say that, take it off" and it was really akward and I had to explain that it was some default setting that i was too lazy to change, they haven't mentioned my sexuality since, but im dying to let them know :[ i just got a feeling they won't like it at all

Maybe you should tell someone else in your family if you're not sure how your parents will handle it, perhaps a sibling? It feels good to just come clean to someone close to you...

When my mum asked me bout my sexuality I panicked before splurting out "I'mgaymumpleaseacceptmetheway­Iam."Before she asked me to go slow. I then went "I'm gay please don't kill me."She then said "What do you want for dinner?" I feel so grateful I have a mum who accepts me and I feel for everyone who hasn't had a nice coming out.

I came out to my mom not my dad because i trust my mom but i my dad would kill me literally if he knew i was gay!

@Nakedguy01 Those are his reasons. He believes marriage is between a man and a woman, and that marriage is not a "right" but a privilege. I My dad's super catholic.

@hello43231 I'm not protecting the flamboyant stereotype that some gays express....but the voice is not enough to tell if a person is gay or not. I've met plenty of straight guys that I've thought to be gay because of the voice and turns out they weren't...
