My cat KiKi accidentally turned on my GE stove! The knob at the top easily turns. If I had not been at the stove when it happened, KiKi would have turned on the oven where I store pots and pans. She could have burned down the house! I have taped the knob down. It's either that, or get a new stove, and no, I cannot childproof that knob. I've tried unsuccessfully.

We had three large packs of raw chicken on the bottom level, and we think that maybe some leaked out and caught his attention. The problem is now he remembers how to do it and we've since had to put child locks on the doors. But, originally we think raw poultry on the bottom rack created the environment to spark his curiosity. You'll notice from other clips that it is not just refrigerators that he's figured out how to open. These events are not rare for the Bengal breed of cat.
