Last summer, when I heard this beautiful song, I thought it would be perfect for the opening titles of Django Unchained, the upcoming movie from Quentin Tarantino.

It's as if this is the actually opening credits. The old QT should use this music, it's just spot on.

It is set during the slavery days in America, and concerns a former slave named Django (Jamie Foxx) pairing up with a German bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz) to rescue his wife from the brutal plantation, "Candyland", owned by snotty Calvin Candy (Leonardo DiCaprio). Kurt Russell, Sacha Baron Cohen, Kerry Washington, JG-Levitt, and Don Johnson, among many others also star.

awesome, but to give you the heads up, the credits are actually going to be displayed while the film is going. Django and other slaves will be walking across a dirt road/desert landscape, led by two hillbilly slave traders.
