but thinking about all this is just making me confussed (O.o), when u can stop thinking about this !!! And trained/practice on your powermoves cause somewhere out there someone's training harder than u so push ur limits to re-difine Bboying

i think the terms are twisted (the opposite)
-
the way i learned was a breakDANCER was footwork and , and BBOYing was dynamic entrys no rythm just straight blunt force laws defying gravity bending powermoves/transition/freeze's

Breakdance are people who can do the moves, But put no style or break up their own steps and turn them into moves, They don't follow the music, and like to show off. BBoys are the respectful term for a breakdancer , even though it represents breakdancing, It means a whole other thing. We call ourselves bboys to bring back the first bboy crews such as rocksteady and where they originated from.

breakdance is a dance but long ago....bboy is the same as breakdance but it was just made better. check out: "History Of Breaking" by kidglyde (channel: HowcastArtRec)

The term breakdance does not exist. It was a term dubbed by the media. K-Mel is saying that because he wants to denounce the confusion between the two terms since "breakdancer" has already become a misused word like most urban words.

i always thought that breakdancers were more like performers and bboys were all about the battles. so i consider myself a breakdancer cuz i get owned at battles but i can always put on a good show.

Look, I understand those two terms sound technically the same, but culturally they mean something else.
ABDC for example, a lot of them use "breakdancing" moves. But it is just a move, doesnt mean they bboy/bgirl. They could be a full-time hip choreographer and implemented it into their routine.
On opposite side, a "bboy/bgirl" does the indian step...does not mean they're a tribal dancer, they are bboys because they enjoy the culture and not just to look cool.
