i love this song and this is my first time listening to it again since the day my best friend died. the day he died I listened to this song and I started to cry even harder so I said to myself I will not listen to this song ever again but today I listened to it, I did cry a little but I listened to it. I still love this song anyway if I listen to it or not.

Heard a version that took out all the lyrics about mistakes and regrets, replaced with accomplishments, faith and great memories. In my opinion, a great dis-service. Couldn't relate at all to the revision, but the original lyrics touch me so deeply. Wife and I lost our house this year; father died of lung cancer few years back, my singing voice is partially crippled with vocal parisis, no healing for 15 years now, and no success professionally. Like many others, I know pain. This song helps.

I put my music on shuffle today, because I wanted God to speak to me, and this song came up, and I was just so tired, and hurt. It seemed today that all the mistakes I had made over the years piled up, and I couldn't find out how to make things all better, and then I realize Jesus. He has the power to do anything.
