Moreover, the 16 Air Assault Brigade employs Spartan/Scimitar and the Royal Marines Bv10S tracked light tanks/APCs from C-130 Hercules aircraft that have air-refuel capabilities; putting current American Paratroopers and marines to shame with our wheeled trucktard, road-bound, vulnerability madness.

The U.S. military is a yes-man bureaucracy where we MUST tell the boss whatever lies he wants to hear and have us do. FIDO = Fuck It, Drive On. Problem is that on planet EARTH there is far more terrain than there can be men with rifles on every street corner or every square foot of desert or mountain terrain. To SMOTHER sub-national conflicts (SNCs) you need WALLS, SECURITY FENCES, SENSOR BELTS, MINEFIELDS; to achieve ECONOMY OF FORCE. There is no economy in a FARCE of weak egos wanting to run around in wheeled trucks on roads to hop out and gunsling when the enemy just blows them up before they even get to shoot back. Americans throw money at problems so they can do stupid things they want to do in a "Non-Economy of Farce" to the tune of $10 BILLION/month in Iraq.

THE THING THAT SETS THE BRITISH ARMY APART IS SIDO.

Sort It out and Drive On.

The British Army uses the SIDO concept that there are MULTIPLE ways of doing things with what you have got; that can be arranged A-B-C-D or D-C-B-A maybe B-C-A-D etc.

This is THINKING-as-you-do-things.

In America, there is ONLY WHAT THE BOSS DICTATES.

Unlike some NATO armies that are full of hubris, the British Army particularly their Paras are known to THINK about what they are doing based on objective reality; this is why they figured out how to jump at 250 feet mass tac while we can only jump at 500 feet and break terrain mask.

i was in the fourth battalion of the parachute regiment of her majesteys armed forces back as a teenager before joining the marines. i really have a fondness for the paras. always have. still have their tatoo on my right arm. i really think this is a brilliant piece of video you made
