@MuayThaiViking that is one fight i want to see buakaw vs saiyok. if yodsanklai vs buakaw happens, i actually think that buakaw will take it. on the other hand i also think that the older generations of muay thai fighters were more exciting, i like watching old school better and samart payakaroon is my favorite from those days.

@halimaw12 everything will always be black/white when you deal with fanboys :-) buakaw has had a great year, 8-0 in 2011. been fighting a lot, and i couldnt care less about K-1. the judges are generally screwing up K-1
there arent really that many big thai fighters, they are naturally small people. most of them are way below 70kg. so imo buakaw is probably one of the best thais in that weightclass. but my number 1 spot goes to saiyok!

@MuayThaiViking +10 for this comment right there. buakaw is either overrated or underrated when comparing to other thais. he is good, even sparring sessions with saenchai and sudsakorn shows that he's just as good as his fellow thais. its just that either fanboys think that he's the best thai fighter ever or other fanboys of muay thai think that since he hasn't fought in thailand for years means that he hasnt fought the best, thus overrated and would lose to other thais.
