Edinburgh Waverley railway station (referred to by National Rail simply as Edinburgh but also commonly called Waverley) is the main railway station in the Scottish capital Edinburgh. Covering an area of over 25 acres (101,000 m²) in the centre of the city, it is the second-largest main line railway station in the United Kingdom in terms of area, the largest being London Waterloo. It is the northern terminus of the East Coast Main Line, and the terminus of the Edinburgh branch of the West Coast Main Line.

Haymarket railway station is in Haymarket, Edinburgh, Scotland. It is Edinburgh's second largest station after Waverley, a major commuter and long-distance destination, located quite centrally near the West End. Trains from the station serve much of Scotland west and north of Edinburgh (including Fife and Glasgow), and local lines to the east, and the trunk route down the east coast of England.

Falkirk High railway station is one of the railway stations serving the town of Falkirk in Scotland. It is on the Glasgow to Edinburgh via Falkirk Line, and situated on the southern edge of the town, close to the Union Canal.

Croy railway station serves the towns of Croy and Kilsyth, as well as part of Cumbernauld, in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. Located on the Glasgow to Edinburgh via Falkirk Line 18 km (11½ miles) north east of Glasgow Queen Street, it is also served by SPT services on the Croy Line. Train services are provided by First ScotRail.

Glasgow Queen Street (Glaschu Sràid na Banrighinn in Gaelic) is a railway station in Glasgow, Scotland, the smaller of the city's two main line railway termini and the third-busiest station in Scotland. It is between George Street to the south and Cathedral Street Bridge to the north, at the northern end of Queen Street adjacent to George Square. Queen Street station serves the Greater Glasgow conurbation's northern towns and suburbs, the Edinburgh shuttle, and is the terminus for all inter-city services to destinations in the North of Scotland.
