  • I hear what you're saying. The thing is I'm 47 and my favorites goes back to Billy Cobham, Tony Williams, etc. World class drummers so I'm very hard to impress. When I hear a Ronald Bruner jr. I instantly realize I'm watching greatness. It doesn't mean that the other 100 plus drummers I like lost their luster. This guy is crazy good and it doesn't really matter if there are some other guys in his league. I've probably listened to 95% of the drummers out there so I think I'm fairly up to speed.

  • I'm telling it like it is, in this new generation of drummers "The black guys OWN THE DRUMS" !!!

They got super accurate hard hitting speed, fast feet and the coolest beats.

Don't get me wrong, they're are a lot of great white drummers, but come on, look at "Ronald Bruner" along with the likes of Royster, Pridgen, Chambers....and what they got is "Built in SOUL" !!! !!! "LONG LIVE THE BLACK DRUMMER"!!!

  • @drUmriel Nope not at all

  • I know this isn't about competition but Tony Royster better watch out. And I wish there was an overhead shot!!

  • @tylerjshort dude is there anywhere i can get this from, i need it in my ears!!! please

  • HE USE THE PUSH PULL TECHNIQUE AFTER THE 4:17 ???

    WOW I CANT BELIEVE.

  • @TheWangboo So you're calling Stanley Clarke,George Duke,Marcus Miller and other artists that he got hired by young? Have you listened to the albums he played on? He's very controlled in the studio and super creative live....He IS NOT a gospel chops drummer he took the time to do his research. When he grooves he can break necks too. Look for him Jamming with his brother and Flying Lotus.
