I noticed that one of Vanilla Ice's best song is not on YouTube and decided to share it with the masses. But I found it unjustified to simply upload the song to a VIDEO site, so I edited together this music video with highlights from Ice's career ranging from 1988-2011.

Featured in the video is of course Vanilla Ice and the V.I.P. (The Vanilla Ice Posse) throughout the years.
Some of the Posse worth mentioning that appear include Earthquake, Zero, DJ Dirty Chopstixx, Clint Eastwood, E-Roc, Squirrel, Tommy Quan, Juice, Deshay and Hi-Tec.

If you keep your eyes WIDE OPEN you might see small cameos by MC Hammer, Bloodhound Gang, Naomi Campbell, Jay Leno, Arsenio Hall, Jedward, Chris Kattan and other celebrities who've met the Iceman.

Vanilla Ice - biography
Robert Van Winkle was born on Halloween in 1967. His parents divorced when he was young so he took turns living in Miami and in Dallas. During his teenage years, Winkle became interested in breakdancing and was shortly nicknamed 'Vanilla' because he was the only caucasian member in his breakdancing group. Others interest such as rapping started developing during freestyle battles at underage keg parties, which is how Vanilla's nickname was slightly altered to Vanilla Ice.

At the age of 16, Vanilla Ice and the V.I.P. started performing as opening acts in Tommy Quon's Dallas nightclub known as City Lights. It was there where his popularity took off and Quon decided to become Ice's manager. Together they recorded the vinyl, Hooked, released in 1989. The singles were 'Play that Funky Music' and 'Ice Ice Baby'. Ice Ice Baby became one of the most requested songs where ever the song had played and soon, deals started flooding in. To the Extreme was released in 1990 which featured some of the hits from Hooked and it became one of the highest selling albums of all time. To the Extreme sold over 17 million and Vanilla Ice was the first successful mainstream rapper.

Ice's record company, SBK overexposed Ice in a short period of time. They released dolls, live albums and books about Vanilla Ice. After a cameo in the sequel to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and starring in his very own film Cool As Ice, his fame had died down to what it once was. Ice took a break and started focusing on another one of his hobbies, motorcrossing and jet skiing, becoming the world's No. 6-ranked sit-down Jet Ski racer in 1993.

Vanilla Ice released his second album, Mind Blowin' in 1994. It didn't live up to the first album, but has since become a cult classic. Ice decided to focus more on the music than the image and stayed out of the public spotlight while still touring worldwide. After facing problems with drugs, Ice met with producer and friend Ross Robinson, who was known for his work in nu-metal. Together they made Ice's third album called Hard to Swallow (1998) which was more metal then his previous work.

Ice continued touring as well as appearing in various reality shows, soon becoming very sought after as his various antics would usually boost up views. In 2001, Ice released a double CD called Bi-Polar, the first half being nu-metal (Scabz) while the second half being hip hop (Bomb Tha System). The CD featured members from SlipKnot, Wu-Tang Clan and Insane Clown Posse among various other guests. In 2005, Ice released his seventh album, entitled Platinum Underground .

Currently, Ice is working on a new album entitled Wisdom, Tenacity & Focus and he also has his own Television show called 'The Vanilla Ice Project' where he fixes up houses, something that's been a hobbie for the last 15 years. He also has a song in the top charts in the UK which he did with the Irish duo, Jedward.
