Well, you miss the point. We don't care of what people think of gays & lesbians. But we won't tolerate people who advertise violence against us. It's true that the majority of people who listen to music (or movies) that incite violence will not act. But a minority think that it's socially acceptable to do verbal gay bashing and sometimes even engage into violent act. So until there are songs that advertise violence about same sex gender, there will be strong opposition.

i being listening to dancehall for years and i havent killed any gays . when you watch a movie with shootings and bombings do you really go home and copy i think not.
someone who dislikes gays had that dislike long become the reggae artists were singing about it do you really think if you ban a few reggae shows thats going to stop people disliking gays
