@7beers The "Family" is lip-syncing to the recording. (They are not actually playing the music nor singing live). Shirley and David are the only members of the family who actually sing on the records. One of the background singers for the family is Robin Ward. Robin was a one-hit-wonder with a song titled Most Wonderful Summer before she started recording background for the family.

@Noosic He strums that bass all the time. You'd think that in a show about a family who performs as a band, and they "perform" every episode, they'd hire someone come in for a few minutes to show the actors how to not completely mess up.

@7beers this was that episode where he was trying to date two women (another guy's girl while he was out of town and Laurie's friend) at the same time and he lied about being sick to go out with the other girl

Great video and song and love this episode. Danny does not act like he cares one way or another about being there doing that scene based on his facial expressions and body language and how he looks at the camera. David looks so tired there but real cute in that scene. I do not know how he did it working many hours and then more hours touring on the weekends. Thanks for loving this show and group as much as I did growing up and watching it on Friday nights faithfully.

This is my favorite episode, I believe its episode 80? Anyway, this has always been my favorite because of the way David looks in it. In the Episode, in this video...this is the most beautiful man I have ever seen! Sigh...he's gorgeous!!
