BC's minimum wage increase is getting mixed reviews from the business community.
Wednesday, Premier Christy Clark announced BC's lowest hourly rate would rise slowly, over the next 14 months from eight dollars now to just over ten dollars next year.
It's the first increase in ten years and for most employers - it didn't come as a surprise.
But that doesn't mean everyone likes it.
