I'm aware of this - my concern is that nationalized healthcare is right around the corner.

Our Founding Fathers would have despised the idea of governmental intervention in healthcare. The Tenth Amendment is a good example: this argument is not bunk.

Equal treatment is not a right: even with the healthcare bill proposed, the rich will still receive better healthcare. There goes equal treatment out the door.

It's shortsighted due to a lack of concern about future repercussions of expansion.
