Members of the democratic party are trying to speak. The Republican members are abusing process by making spurious, superfluous arguments, to stall or prevent the Democrats from being able to present their statements. This goes on for hours. Hours turn to years. This is why nothing ever gets done quickly or efficiently in American politics. Regardless of your political affiliations, regardless of passion over the issues, it should be agreed that this display is just plain childish.

Currently insurance companies are not regulated to manageable degree and are immune from anti-trust laws. This allows price fixing at cost of the American people. We need insurance reform, that provides every American with good health care and takes care of the needs of the people. As part of the right of public safety health care is a federal mandate as it should be.

Then you are more interested in increasing the suffering of the American people than you are in helping them. If you want to see us with less health care. Let's be clear the insurance companies are charging more money and providing less service. Mr. Grassley said that supporting the democratic bill would pull the plug on grandma when in actuality the insurance companies as they are now can and do pull the plug on grandma. continued
