Its awe inspiring to think what this legend has given us all over the many years,,,,,, Here's to Sir. Bob !

In 1983, Bob Dylan invited her to
appear in his first ever music video, "Sweetheart Like You," from his
excellent INFIDELS album. In the video, Carla mimes a guitar part and
solo, both of which were actually recorded (in the studio sessions) by
Mick Taylor, guitarist extraordinaire, ex of John Mayall and the
Rolling Stones. Carla and Mick communicated on the telephone over long
distance about the event, thus beginning a long friendship.

The lead guitarist on this video was Carla Olson.

@ve3kiue and cleobelanger: It's actually both.
Knopfler's own tough and flinty guitar tone was paired with that of Mick Taylor; formerly the lead guitarist with the Blues Breakers and, more famously, the Rolling Stones, Taylor was best known for his fluid, melodic improvisations that were firmly placed in the blues tradition. It is knopfler's guitar solo... she's "syncing" it.

Fortunately my C.D. still works. I'd better put it to magnetic tape before the shit comes down

YouTube is removing so many songs. Makes me wonder if I'm committing a crime by plastering this all over. Buy the record 'Infidels'.
Man, I would love to have been the lady with the broom. Just sayin...
