@billyRwicked I had a teacher that HATED me, and then the next year I had the same teacher and went from a D to an A....totally possible to do well even if the teacher hates you.....when you start doing well - they get nicer =P

@nddons09 when I was an impressionable freshman, 2007, living in the most sleazy and dank dorms aka "towers", WVU was rated the number 1 party school in the US... and that's what I'm talking about in this video.

For some reason I always think things will change when I get to college cause I'll feel more independent and I'll be paying for my classes, so I'll actually feel the need to do my work and stuff. My grades aren't failing, I mostly get Bs and Cs but Cs and Ds have been the majority, lately. When I first heard you talk about how your study habits changed and stuff, I was like :o that's gonna be me!! Lol literally. But what exactly motivated you do better in school?

Or maybe this is just me making excuse for my laziness? Maybe it's a combination? Idk. Like I rather help someone with their paper, someone who actually, really wants to do the paper and who does feel fulfilment with getting their school work done. And at the same time I know that if you wanna make a difference in anything, you have to be willing to help yourself and be the best person you can be and stuff cause one blind person can't help another blind person (metaphorically, of course..)

I just don't feel the need or desire to write it. I rather sit here on YouTube, listening to you talk and learn about things that actually interest me. But at the same time, I know school is really important and that I shouldn't take my education for granted and you know, all that jazz. And STILL I'm not motivated. Like idk what it is. I feel like I needa go see a psychologist lol ok, I guess I just don't feel a sense of accomplishment or fulfillment with writing my thoughts down for a grade?

I can't get myself to be motivated in school. I've been bribed with money, told the consequences of not doing well and a whole bunch of other stuff. Throughout my whole entire academic career, I've been told by my teachers that I'm really smart, that I could get straight As if I wanted, that I could be really successful and stuff..yet, I'm still not motivated.
