Sens. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Arlen Specter (R-Pa.) along with Reps. John Larson (D-Conn.), Walter Jones, Jr. (R-N.C.), and Chellie Pingree (D-Maine) introduce the bi-partisan Fair Elections Now Act which would make elections about voters and volunteers instead of big money donors. The Fair Elections Now Act will end the fund raising treadmill and allow our elected leaders to spend all of their times addressing the important issues facing our nation.
