  • I wonder when they'll learn how to play music?

  • Music is something that is enjoyable to many people. Each has their own preferance. I don't knock the music of other performers, even if its not to my taste. If they enjoy the sounds they love, then good luck to them. I dig Omar and the Stringpoppers and seeing them live for the first time, they knocked my socks off...

  • I have lots of stories of WILD nights of drunkeness and some great music too.

  • I bet the mrs filmed this Duke, you always miss starts & finishes, & shake a lot in between.

    Great Vid & Sound

  • I love 'em! Great video thanks for sharing!

  • Planetrocker is a joke..... Lol

  • Go on Western Swing on 78 and learn of where this music comes from! These guys are to 60's influenced, which is good if you like WILD records I guess and also good if your a crappy singer and want to be in a band.

  • Hmmm, I like that 'two-bit-one-string' solo. But I also like 'Travis Pickin' and Jazz runs'. Rockabilly (as a genre) never becomes boring to me because of its 'many faces'...

  • I think you have it all wrong. Rockabilly is not always boring travis/hybrid picking with melodic jazz solos, if you listen to a lot of wild records, you'll realize quickly that they do incorporate that into their music, some artists more than others. Omar is awesome, if you don't like him thats cool, but wild records truly have it going, you may not dig it but I don't see how anyone can put their musicianship in question.

  • Don't get me wrong, these guys are all ace's in my book, but when it comes to music, they are very limited. But, your right, I do give them credit for getting up there cause not everyone could do it, but thats all the credit I give them. Plus 'WILD' records has really taken over the scene in the past few years and now everyone thinks thats the 'authentic sound' when in reality it is not. This is Rockabilly! I want to hear some Travis Pickin' and Jazz runs not some two-bit-one-string solos.

  • Don't know the guy on the strat, but real nice soloing.

  • Duke ... I WANT SOME MORE !!!!

    Chris
