Beverly HIlls Car Thief Ditches SUV In Venice Beach - Gets Arrested On The Venice Boardwalk

A Hispanic male stole a Mercedes G-50 SUV in Beverly Hills, and led police on a high speed chase down the 405 and exited at Venice Blvd. LAPD joined the pursuit with an airship, and followed the suspect as he led the chase all over Venice. He finally headed towards the beach, hit a dead-end at Windward and Ocean Front Walk, bailed out of the vehicle and ran down the crowded boardwalk. He tried to walk casually and blend it, but the LAPD airship had eyes on him the whole time, and the multi-agency police force took him into custody at Westminster and Ocean Front Walk

Yeah, once it turned on it just scans number plates and will automatically search licence, warrant details of registered owner, as well as intel such as gang members, carry guns, done for drugs etc.

If something comes up, it flashes an alarm and turn the screen a different colour to alert you.

Can be useful but can be a pain in the rear at times when trying to get somewhere, ie lunch and it keeps going off!! (yes you can turn it off).

The cop man was searching said "are you injured" And the guy raised an eye brow 09:47 saying "Well, don't you see this huge Bump I got!!" Funny how cops get a little cocky for arresting someone saying "I got him" while the other cops had him already.

actually the cop at the end was pretty cool. at least he took the effort to roll down the window and release info which he is not obligated to do so. not sure if thats the beverly hills cop "thebronze" was referring to...
