  • When jesus said that, he was illustrating the effect you will have on people if you live the way you're supposed to. Like no one will be able to ignore it and it will really speak to people... It has nothing to do with actually having big nasty teeth or a sword...

Have you even read the passage?

  • I have read the book cover to cover 2 times now. How about you?

  • I still don't know why a vast majority of American "Christians" don't take a lot more of the bible as parables and metaphors, the original authors seemed to try and make that point quite clear.

  • I don't know why more christians don't actually read the bible, they would find out that the topic of this video was a direct quote from jesus and in no way a parable.

  • Someone likes the Holy Grail.

  • caught me...lol

  • @paolo27th the Koran is the word of God (Allah), it says so, a you feel it in your heart, you wouldn't call God a liar and say God didn't write the Koran would you?

  • @brutus149 The "writers"? If you`re a chistian the writer is God. Would you accuse God of being a misantropist?

  • @paolo27th as if fundamentalist even remotely agree...the idea of taking it literally is to worship the writers of the OT and take out their misanthropy on the world. The Holy Ghost is not a dittohead.

  • @brutus149 The idea of taking the bible "metaphorically" is just so that religious authorities can make it mean whatever is convenient to them.
