Hi there, nice review.

What I'd like to know is why are a lot of the G1'ers so annoyed with the new movie? I mean, Michael Bay wasn't saying 'these are the transformers from G1'. They had resemblences, but they weren't from that storyline and had slightly different characters. I mean, Optimus' fight with Bonecrusher (poor bot) proved Optimus was kinda merciless. Still, 5/5

What you said about G1'ers is true. I am 31yrs old and consider myself a G1'er. I dont agree with any other series that came out after Cybertron was restored (other than the Japan series that continues, which I've only read about). I plan on getting that series, btw!

PS: Love your commentary about my MOST FAVORITE HOBBY AND TOY FROM MY CHILDHOOD. Do you think there will be money/ value involved with the collecting of these figures??

And I grew up with G1, but I recognize that it is pretty corny by today's standards and yes it would need to be redone. But if you want to see a movie that manages to make its own story with the source material while still retaining the basic underlying features of the original source material, look at the first X Men movie or even First Class (which I think is a great retelling of Magneto's origins).

I'm sorry, I'm not a G1'er (I loved Beast Wars and I love the Animated series, though RID was mediocre haven't seen the others honestly) but the movies were crap! Horrible robot design (at least for the Decepticons), no real characterization of the villains, bad plot, horrible actor (Shila Buff always acts the same obnoxious character in any movie he's in), bad dialogue, childish humor (peeing on someone, really?) and the action didn't even make up for the rest of the flaws.

i got a question...well more of a queary...if when starscream was a ghost and could posses ANY decepticon why didnt he just posses galvatron?....that way he would be in charge and no-one would have known the difference anyway as galvatron was a nutter anyway!
