I'm sure Obama is counting on the Socialist/Communist vote in this country to propel him to the white house. If Obama was an outright communist like what has been suggesting, do you really think he'd be ahead in the polls? Certainly not. By the way, I believe he was talking about the police when he suggested a civilian force that needs to be just as strong and well funded as the military. Just like McCain, you've got no real argument for your assumptions.

Nonsense. What would be the point of saying we need police? He clearly said we can't rely on the military and we need a civilian NATIONAL security force that is as strong and well funded as the military. Police aren't a NATIONAL security force! What would a national security force look like? The military budget is over half a trillion dollars and they have nuclear weapons. What would a civilian national security force as powerful and well funded as the military look like? Nothing American.

If he really wants the people to have more military power he'd make guns cheaper and easier to get legally. He want that HIS people have more power, not THE people. Something coming folks, buy a gun, I'm serious. I like the idea of a militia, local people we know and trust. Not political soldiers but minutemen for emergencies. He want a militia filled with "internationals" like Serbians in MT. Serbia isn't local to me. Thats what you call a mercenary, not a militiamen.
