Wonderful!

THEY NEVER GOT THE CREDIT THEY DESERVE.GREAT BAND!

This song itself reminds me of a Christian Rock song, they play in such an upbeat, 'heavenly' tempo--all except for lyrics like: "Someone's in the closet, and they won't come out"!

@TheSunbau From all that I've heard about Scandinavias--they get it! They have excellent taste in rock music, and they know what good blues-and-boogie-based rock is all about. Bands are sprouting like weeds up there!
-
@TheMagmagoblin ...I should have added Josefus, Bang, and Cactus to that list of forgotten rock titans. I just remember what Eric Clapton said: "Good music will always find its way to you, regardless of the barriers". And thanks to You Tube and Pandora Radio--it has!

@groovy56 Bloodrock, next to Grand Funk and Black Sabbath, were probably the worst victim of rock critic penis envy. Still they did have a hit with "D.O.A.", they sold lots of albums, and played to packed arenas. They had deep roots in the Fort Worth garage/psychedelic scene...they did some singles as Crowd+1. They haven't really been revived with the kids like, say, Sir Lord Baltimore, but that'll come. I think their main problem was their manager stealin' dough. (He did turn up D.O.A.)

@notfragile33 That's a killer list. FM radio used to promote touring bands and local bands who might be opening up. Grand Funk and Bloodrock might've been every PC hack "rock critic" but when people got a taste they filled the arenas. Today radio sees rock music as a beer can on their lawn. Much like we see them. But they're on their way out. Cutting radio playlists is a cultural crime. Late '80s I heard "D.O.A.", Rooster's "Death Walks...", and that acoustic C. Beyond song. Not now.

Yes! Thank you so very much for posting this! BR was the most under rated band from that era! They deserved much more recognition. As a world class musician myself, I can tell you that their chord progressions and arrangements were better than most bands at that time.

Is this the only known live BR prereunion footage?
