This week's gadget is BackTrack from Bushnell, which can show you the way back to any location recorded within 1,000 miles, reports Barron's Jay Palmer. (Aug. 18)
One thing I have found is that other simple GPS products aren't very simple. BackTrack is pretty simple although the Onix isn't... don't confuse the two though because Bushnell has discontinued the Onix for probably good reason. You do need to keep the backtrack level but so does any other digital compass. I highly recommend this product.
I bought a similar device in Sweden called Navibe backtracker. It can save 4 positions and cost 65.49$(499kr) and has more features. you can buy it online at clasohlson.se/
Being as basic as it looks, I don't think so. I am referring to a bushnell onix 350 which is pretty much like this with the added basic feature of adding little icons for your favorite spots. It might as well be the back track. Maps for the onix are almost impossible to download as many also attest to and end up relisting the item on Woot.
is it solar>>>>>>>??????

If it's not perfectly level, you will get bad directions.

@UpcomingJedi I see. I don't have a Bushnell BackTrack, but I think you don't need to download anything to the BackTrack to make it work, right?
